BioCath MaxFlo for maximum flow-rate
The MaxFlo double lumen catheter is particularly suited to high volume therapy in the
treatment of acute conditions in dialysis and apheresis in which blood flow rates of
around 450 ml/min or more are required. The catheter therefore ensures life-saving
access for all blood-cleansing procedures in the shortest possible time.
The MaxFlo double lumen catheter was designed for insertion in the vena jugularis
externa/interna, vena subclavia and vena femoralis.To ensure the required level of
stability of the catheter shaft, an additional guide is provided in the venous lumen. It
is removed once the catheter is inserted. A complete catheter set is available for use
with the Seldinger technique.
